In September twenty of us spent ten days in a convoy of 4x4s crossing north-west Namibia.

We started among the red granite of Damaraland, followed the dry Hoanib River where the desert elephants feed, drove a hundred kilometres of Skeleton Coast beach and crossed the Kunene dunes to the river mouth on the Angolan border, where a crocodile was lying on the bank. From there it was Hartmann's Valley and the Marienfluss, and finally Opuwo.

Our guide was Marius van Zyl of Wild Space Adventure Safaris, who knew every track.

This short film is cut from the drone and wide shots. More videos are available, so drop me a message if you'd like to see them or want to know more about the trip.
